Quality Engineering and Leadership

JBL Resources recruits quality engineers and leaders for regulated manufacturers nationwide. We screen for the product, process, quality system, and decisions each role requires, then look for candidates who have owned comparable work.

Quality roles are defined by what they own

A design quality engineer may own design controls, risk management, verification and validation, and design transfer. A manufacturing quality leader may be responsible for CAPA, nonconformance, audit readiness, supplier performance, or a remediation program.

JBL starts with the decisions the person must make and the outcomes they must own, then looks for candidates who have handled comparable work in a similar regulated environment.

Core Quality Specialties

01

Design Quality

Design quality engineers who support design controls, risk management, verification and validation, design reviews, DHF readiness, and transfer into production.

03

Manufacturing Quality

Manufacturing quality engineers and leaders who own nonconformance, CAPA, process validation, production controls, yield issues, and day-to-day quality support on the manufacturing floor.

02

Supplier Quality

Supplier quality engineers and leaders who qualify and audit suppliers, manage SCARs and supplier performance, support onboarding and transfers, and lead recovery when quality problems persist.

04

Quality Systems and Remediation

Quality systems and remediation professionals who build or improve the QMS, address audit findings, reduce CAPA backlogs, prepare for inspections, and lead sustained corrective action after systemic failures.

Technical and regulatory depth

We look at the standards and regulatory requirements that govern the role, then ask what the candidate owned within that system. Depending on the environment, that may include ISO 13485, FDA QMSR, AS9100, or other applicable requirements.

How JBL evaluates quality talent

Evidence of execution

We ask for specific examples of CAPA ownership, investigations, remediation, design transfer, supplier recovery, or audit preparation, including the decisions made and the result.

Leadership and cross-functional influence

We evaluate whether the candidate can challenge decisions, communicate risk, and work effectively with engineering, operations, regulatory, and supply chain without losing ownership of the quality decision.

Fit for the specific operating environment

A startup, a mature production site, and a remediation program require different judgment. We compare the candidate’s experience with the size, maturity, pace, and constraints of your environment.

Let’s talk about the work this person needs to do.

Whether you are scaling a production line or remediating a complex quality system issue, JBL Resources matches you with vetted specialists who understand the regulatory environment.
